Nope, for normal web acceleration tasks they are still beyond sufficient, actually if you even had a machine as old as the Pentium 4 days if you just put an SSD, make sure you have at least 4 gigabytes of RAM, and specifically install an 8400GS or GT210 (or newer GPU if available) you can very cheaply make an old PC a good web browsing machine with some tasteful choices in software.

Fermi users must use newer DirectX 12 cappable drivers since they are WDDM 2.x drivers.
